Continuing my walkabouts in my hometown..
..currently I feel like my photography stinks. I'm out of ideas.
I'm bored.
I'm sick'n'tired.
I'm a stupid asshole.

recently my gf and I have returned to her home "area" to help take care of her dad while he recovers from surgery. She's been away for about 3 years and when she felt the same and that a change would do her good. Sine returning and the 2 of us shooting together she sees things she didn't see before and has different take.
So my suggestion, maybe find a shooting partner? Someone who helps you see what you normally don't. I know when one of us is in a funk we bounce back a little quicker
PS. sometimes DA inspires like it did with me

Thanks for the advise, Sir. I've always been sure that I work best while being left alone and without distraction. I still feel that way. Photography for me is a form of soul healing and therapy and I can't concentrate in it if someone walks with me, talks and interrupts my thinking of the scene and the image to be captured.

I feel yah .. for us it's more about pointing things out to one another that we would not normally shoot, or something we see in our travels. When it comes to actual "shooting time" we just leave each other the hell alone until we get back in the car

I haven`t took a single shot with my DSLR so far this year and it doesn`t bother me either.
Took a lot with my phone,that ticks me over so to speak,until I`m in the mood to actually do some proper shooting again
