I sincerely appreciate your observational skills, and commend you for them.Thank you for commenting as well . So yes I could have made her hand a bit larger.  Or.Maybe It's built to be streamline and extend from an unorthodox distance (hence the top plates/ segments) to slip effortlessly under or through the rib cage lacerating intestine, stomach,lung tissue (not necessarily in that order) while continuing to the heart. In a Sci Fi world you can't be too sure of a cybernetic limb's functions. Maybe her forearm/elbow assembly is that large for a reason.

While that does make sense as far as a tactical decision, practically, in everyday life, it'd be somewhat difficult to use what with the imbalance of size between the two hands, no? Unless that had can get detatched and replaced with another hand that's used for regular life, and the one on now is just her killing hand. Dunno, just speculating!
