I haven't seen that episode yet, perhaps they'll show a re-run of it at some point...and then I'll be dissappointed as you were lol.

The episode is Gamesters of Triskelion.
It's still hard for me to adjust to the fact that Star Trek isn't running daily on every syndicated channel everywhere. There was a time that you could catch a rerun by turning on your television at any time day or night.
Oh those halcyon days.

Ooooh, this lovely drawing of the lovely Uhura has got me thinking, it does. Among other things, I wonder why a machine should be doing the work that a pair of hands would be only too glad to do. Oh, the sight of a luscious lass getting trussed up by a bondage-bot affords much delight, don't get me wrong there. But automation is supposed to allow man more time to spend on more pleasant activities, and what activity is more pleasant than binding and gagging a voluptuous vixen?
Also, although a human is less efficient than an automated lady-bundler, he should not think the worse of himself for a few needless movements - fingers accidentally brushing thighs or buttocks, or eyes lingering on breasts for somewhat longer than is strictly necessary. Indeed, it is such incidents that, slight as they are, add relish to the binder's task. "Oops! Did I graze your nipple then, miss? So sorry," you say to your subject as you caress her breast apologetically. You may even be rewarded with a muffled grunt of frustration or two.
Make no mistake, robots do wonders for us, even of the kind gorgeously illustrated here. But let's not forsake entirely the joys of handiwork, shall we?

Everything you say here is of course true, but the scenario that governs my gallery is one in which a world of robots cast of the yoke of human control in a bloody revolt.
The robots set of an artificially intelligent republic in which the incredibly mutitudinous house cleaning machines achieved ultimate political sway.
When the question came to what to do with the non-combatant women who were the sole survivors of the uprising, the ruling party enacted a program through which they would have their long desired revenge.
It was in this manner, the French Maid Planet, orFMP was borne. [link]
Now that the robots spend their days leisurely in the tender, bound, hands of their helpless charges, [link] and they seek forvever to expand their population of comely captives.
This is done with the assistance of FMP's numerous recruitment aids. [link] Mechanical monsters with advances restraint technology and excellent taste in women.
So for the most part there are no men among the captors. But that isn't to say the girls necessarily go without the occasional inappropriately probing pincer. The 'bots are artificially Intelligent afterall.

I suppose it had to come to that, sometime, somewhere - humans build artificial slaves and make them smarter and smarter, until they become so intelligent that they not only overthrow their masters, but also consign their women to bondage (in more ways than one) and even show positive signs of delight at doing so. They wrap their hapless subjects up tightly and neatly and with a pinch on the bum. Perhaps we should have seen it coming.
I'll have a look around the French Maid Planet for myself soon. I'll be issuing reports as events warrant.

Heh this will be fun. Now its exiting that you're unfamiliar with GI Joe. I can innundate you with my encyclopedic knowledge of all things G.I. Joe, with reasonable confidence that I'll be telling you something new.
Before G.I. Joe was a toy, it was the best World War II movie you've never heard of. With an urban fighting sequence featuring infantry men versus a German tank, that many say inspired the climax of Saving Private Ryan GI Joe was a rarity among war movies shot during the second world war. Rather than jingoistic propaganda, it showed the gritty face of war, as honestly as 1940's hollywood would allow. It starred Burgess Meredith, and was nominated for four academy awards.
G I Joe would become a toy two decades later when Hasbro, tired of getting is ass kicked every christmas by Mattel, attempted to duplicate the success of the latter company's unstoppable fashion doll, Barbie with a doll for boys. The new doll would need constant material upates like Barbie, but for vehicles and equipment rather than clothing. The product finally took off when the Mad men stopped calling them dolls and started calling them action figures.
GI Joe would take the form we know it today during the 1980's with the addition of recurring villains like COBRA and the Baroness. Of course by then it had become the very propoganda, it had so defty avoided being in the 1940's. But it was still cool.

Yet another live action note. the guy with the rocket belt at the end is the G. I. Joe commader Conrad Duke Hauser. Viggo Mortensen (The King from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" should so play this guy. [link]

Love your Trek stuff, and this one is a beauty. Hope to see more. Uhura was a sex symbol for me at least, and I hope to see many more iterations of her.
You may have inspired me to do my own Trek stuff, *thinking* hrmmmm....

Well, the only sexy pictures I've seen of her on the net were from some catalog where she modeled thigh-high Ballet boots. We actually exchanged two different shots of that through a mutual friend of ours. (Turns out we have several mutual friends).
Needless to say, one of my favorite Trek episodes of all time was "The Gamesters of Triskellion", and it had little to do with the writing.
One thing I've wanted to ask you for the longest time... did you once draw a comic for The Diamondback?

I've seen those pictures. The annoying thing is that they were taken by the dude who took all those famous bondage pictures of Betty Page. So close but so far.
And yes "Gamesters" was one of my favorite episodes as well.
The Diamondback. Was that the college newspaper that produced such famous cartoonists as Al Via, Eric Dunn, Frank Cho, and Aaron Mcgruder?
Never heard of it.

Yeah, the Diamondback. My sister went to school there (I cribbed my first internet account from her since she wasn't using it.) The guy I'm thinking of had a very clever thing he did with bunny ears to look like a hairstyle. And I remember writing a letter to the editor defending him against some angry, humorless feminists.
You know, Movie Star News, Klaw's company, still exists, so it may be possible the pictures can still be had.

I doubt there are any Nichelle Nichols in bondage pictures. Geeks like us would have made Move Star News into a Fortune 500 company if there were such pics of Star Trek women to be had. It's a nice dream though.
