A sort of sailor suit with artificial gills that grants super-cavitation speeds underwater too? Oh and strategically placed life preserver air bladders.
As for downed pilots, perhaps on their flight suits in a couple pouches they keep a single Chaffette each, and the suit itself suppresses the life signs of a pilot, to ensure maximum evasion probability.

Interesting. Very interesting. Delightfully distracting, in fact.
If there is a pun here, I missed it. But, looking at previous encounter records, the odds of locating a pun somewhere are well over 80%.
Ahem! Well, though I love the image, the coloration really got me. blur effects are nice and all, but dozens of 'chaffettes' individually colored? Not to mention a truly gorgeous fuschia lining over a delightful inking job...
So, out of curiosity - what weapons does the SWAN have? Other than a delightfully distracting cannon of dolls, I fail to see armament.

I am considering having the AMAZON's employ short burst, area effect weapons that irradiate the drone-killing SWITCH gun signals. Logic Bomb sounds like a perfect name.

Ah, okay. Well, now I know. I assumed that AMAZON had -something- in the way of weaponry other than distractions. I especially love your version of electronic attacks.
I wonder how vulnerable the new, low-intelligence Seeker models are to the original logic problems that plagued Nomad? Individually, rather than shot hundreds at a time. xD
As for the other weapon, I find it quite fascinating. Ideas like this make me squeal at their cleverness.
The FMP negotiating? I understood that they were capable of Borg-like faustian bargains...

Yes AMAZON could use high tech weapons, like its trademark Carrier Aircraft*. [link]
Better know as Jumpships for their ability to jump instantaneously from a fixed altitude over a planet, to the same altitude over another planet, all without ever leaving and atmosphere. (The ship pretty much generates its own Stargate.)
Carrier Aircraft are NOWHERE NEAR as big as Behemoths, the average only being 1,100 feet long displacing only 150,000 long tons when not antigravitating. However, since they agravitically float an average of 100 stories above the ground, they remain forever out of the reach of their orbital counterparts, making them the big kids in the atmospheric playground.
Festooned with missiles KEW batteries superheavy Neurosys turrets, and able to deploy squadrons of SWAN attack jets and Strike BUNI's, CA's can really spoil a perfectly good Recruitment Drive.
* Pictured is Braidy's flagship, the Alexandria. Named for the legendary warrior who cut the equally legendary Gordian Knot-- which supposedly could not he unraveled.

I just realized what your mechanical designs remind me of. There was an old comic by Ted Nomura called Tigers of Terra, which had some amazingly detailed mechanicals, mostly aircraft and spacecraft. And not only of existing, historical craft but a large number of near-future designs as well, all very well done.

I wish I knew. LIke similar comics -- like Albedo, which also had some excellent, hard-science mechanical designs, the author/artist just seemed to stop doing it one day and moved on.

Ted has had to take a full time job in the air line industry, plus part time with the air force. he stated that it will be ten years before he can retire and possibly do comics at any level.
their have been some efforts to reprint the books over the yaers , but thier staus is unkown to me at this time.

Wow. As others have stated, your stuff is really taking a huge leap forward. This is just too damn cool, in all respects! I think my favorite part of the whole AMAZON vs. FMP thing is that it's a fabulous way to have fun with awesome military-themed design work without the lingering moral and emotional dilemmas that arise from any normal sort of warfare. I love it!

Well that is definitely comforting to hear. I suppose all the hours at my drawing board and in front of my computer are beginning to bear fruit. In any case, it's nice to see that people are enjoying it.
Yea, I'm finding the whole "war without casualties" thing to be quite the hoot. All the miligeek spectacle and none of the carnage. Well, except for machine carnage that is.
