inspired by ZZZ's amazing works at jptegaki, and i wanted to challenge myself by not using the opacity tool or the full color palette.i'm pretty fond of how this turned out, enough that i'm submitting this just an hour after i posted it on tegakie. my monitor's light enough that it stops hurting after a few seconds if i look at it, but if you're feeling your retinas burning... tell me.

Just a quick comment:
Yes, eyerape indeed. Working with such loud colors can be hard and you can get a bad finished product if you're not careful, which is why I avoid them. BUT I must say you did a great work on Prussia's head. If I concentrate on this part of the picture the colors don't even seem to affect my retinas. I can't say the same on the rest of the body. It doesn't look bad, but some of the colors look like they were placed at random, particulary the pink fucsia on the lower half of the body. Something else about the pink fucsia: it also bothers me that you chose to leave some lines with the same thickness, like the one on Prussia's ass. Maybe giving it different volumes would look less sketchy.
My mind tries to find the pattern you followed when you chose the colors and can't. I must say I favour the parts where you decided to use the brighter colors more, such as the face and right arm.
The background is great, as usual. Your abstract backgrounds are the best. It's following the pattern of a rose, isn't it? I really like the writing, especially the P letter on both parts. Both wings' placement and looks bother me. Maybe if you had chosen to give it a solid form instead of just lines it would have worked better to me.
Well that's all I have to say I think. Oh, and Prussia's expression is calm and nice, contrasting with the aggressive color scheme. Great work there.
