Haha, well it's a big AU for one thing. It takes place in a world kind of similar to the one in Cross Epoch (that mini DBZ/OnePiece manga that was published a couple of years ago), only it's strictly DBZ. No One Piece characters involved. I just loved the steampunky feel and look to the Cross Epoch world. So the Ginyus are sky pirates, Bra is a formidable Saiyan Princess on a diplomatic mission to Frieza's courts, and because every steampunk world needs its Queen Victoria, we have instead Queen Dodoria. I love crack fanfiction.

I think it was mentioned in one of the games somewhere that they had a rivalry (Sauza apparently has a rivalry and a history with Ginyu according to one of the games). I just like the idea of them being comic foils for one another, they're a lot of fun to write that way.
