I know, it's a bizarre pairing haha! But the way I write Burter and Marron their personalities really suit each other. In Duel of Fates, which is a big AU RPG I run, Marron lost her parents, Krillen & #18, during Frieza's attack on Earth. She became an information's broker for the remaining members of the Rebellion against Frieza's Empire and often worked with Burter, though they didn't meet face-to-face for a long time. When they finally did meet, Burter was surprised and impressed by Marron's ingenuity and bravery, particularly for a human with no fighting ability. So their romance develops over a while - I find it ridiculously cute.
