The fact that Dash in fact does have a soft, caring, even maternal side makes her character infinitely more enjoyable than before, and I loved her from the start. It's also realistic. The jock tomboy is more likely to emerge from her shell of tough attitude and witty remarks when one on one when individuals she cares a lot for, in comparison to in crowds. Precisely what happened in Sleepless in Ponyville, and I thought it was adorabs.
While I won't spoil things for anyone, I will say that, Sleepless in Ponyville's efforts to establish Scootalove and prepare it for follow-up will not be forgotten in S4, from what I've read <3
