Honestly though. I'm sorry this image isn't your cup of tea, but you're the one that made the choice to look at it. The mature content designator for Sexual Themes reads thus: "References to sex or overt sexuality, including sexually based humor. This category also covers images in which the character or model has taken a sexually provocative pose. " Now, you could potentially make the argument that the pose is provocative, and if enough people agree with that argument I'll change the rating to respect that. But the theme of this image adheres to dA's content rules, and thus does not require a mature rating.

For the respect of the few who don't like furries. As a fetish vore is amongst the ones the general majority of people don't wanna fuckin' see. Have you considered that not all Vore is kinky?
Maybe this one is, I dunno, but last time I checked, Tom and Jerry would have sexual themes in it. Spongebob involves porn. Sonic's portrayal of anthropomorphic characters instantly makes it kinks. But throughout the years, cartoon Furries and Vore are cherished, abundant topics in something as simple as childhood cartooning. There's always a cat snacking on a mouse. There's always some sort of pirate getting swallowed up by a whale.
Anthropomorphism and voriphilia aren't just fetishes. I've seen the "it's just a fetish" thing all too many times, and unless cartoons have something to do with sex, I don't think it's possible for those to be done sexually. If they are, I think those need a higher rating... But the lack of fatalities or anything of the sort leads me to believe that both are perfectly appropriate as long as they aren't intentionally done in a seductive or potential sexual way.

Many people consider it one. But that wasn't exactly the point I was trying to make.
What I was trying to say is that if anthro can be done in cartoons without being overtly sexual, than Vore can't possible be no more than "just a fetish"... What I mean is that they're both in cartoons that I'm positive if, the anthro characters aren't sexual, than neither is the Vore.
By no means am I trying to say that you have to understand Vore, or that everyone had to like Vore, I'm aware that in some cases it can be disgusting and the number of people advocating for it can be slim. I'm simply trying to say that, as contrast to furry, another one that many people- not nessicarily you- name as "just a fetish," I'm using it as an example to show that if that one isn't just a fetish, than neither is the more voracious content (I'm fascinated by both so don't get the idea I'm trying to pick on any Furries).
I hope this explains it a little more, and I apologize for butting in and causing confusion!

I think it's the word that I have an issue with. Like if you said gobbling something up or just specifically enough "Eating" it would be more "cartooney" but I am just so used to earing people say they have a "Vore" fetish and me personally thinking it's gross.

Like I said, everything is a fetish to somebody. This is not a fetish to me. It's just a silly drawing. It's not my fault that some people see it sexually. I never said dA was a porn website, and I do not treat it as such. dA is a website for the showcasing of artistic endeavors. This is not only my artistic endeavor, it is also well within the guidelines set by dA's staff. Therefore, you cannot tell me I can't post it. Likewise, as I said, this image's theme does not demand a marking for mature content based on Sexual Themes. This is, once again, by the guidelines set up by dA itself.
And what's wrong with being a furry? All the term means is that you enjoy creating and viewing works of art- be they visual, writen, etc- involving anthropomorphic animals. I grew up with Looney Toons and Tom & Jerry shorts, and I loved Courage the Cowardly Dog. I adored Brian Jacques' Redwall series, and the majority of my gallery definitely has a big Animorphs influence. I want to show the things that I loved when I was little to people now. And before you say none of my examples included vore, the very first Courage short was about a Cajun Fox trying to prepare Muriel, the old woman, in a stew.
And dA doesn't need me to make it look unprofessional. It does a very good job of that itself.

Regarding the image's pose, if you'd like to register a concern about that, I'll keep it in mind. If it seems to become the general consensus that the pose is sexual, I'll mark the image mature. But based on the theme alone, the rules are on my side here.
