Wow, love and image, and yes thanks for the reminder my PC is on 24-7-365 (apart from the odd crash), but I do make a plan to go out each and every day for something, and I guess if I'm taking stock photos and can feed both needs at once LOL

Aside from the wonderful concept, it's a great image. Very industrial and harsh.

Tim!!!! It looks so real, excellent idea/execution

looks like something straight from the 'Rolling Stones' magazine......a piece of art that they would use

Wow! Now that's a great compliment! Thank you so much! I took many photos of these old TVs out in a field (there were about 8 of them all together) hoping to spark some ideas for our CD cover. By the way, I noticed that I ues the same stock photo of the little girl [link] that you used for one of the ONAS covers!
hehe!

artdicted [2006-02-21 11:01:26 +0000 UTC]

i know the feeling sometimes my eyes go like after too much pc/tv this should be a campaign of getting people out to see the real thing not only photos and manip life is not like those beautifull photos or manips there is more out there and outside you can feel the wind too so i'll pc/tv and go to school now i have to be there at 14
great manip the idea

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

weeja In reply to artdicted [2006-02-21 17:39:54 +0000 UTC]

thank ya man...there's a fine line here because we WANT people to see our art....just not substitute the real world for it (unless applicable)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

artdicted In reply to weeja [2006-02-21 20:56:19 +0000 UTC]

well we want them to see, that is the point of making art, but we don't want them becoming zombies feeding on our art all day and getting fat and bald on the computer screen they should go outside from time to time to see what season is now and if the sun is still there live your life too, meet people and see different things, outside there are a lot more colors than your monitor is able to show and outside maybe you can find some inspiration that is needed in the art making process
i'm feeling like those coaches that have 2 minutes left to save the game

Errrmmm... I can relate to that to one point, my ass is sitting on this chair for a good part of the day, I'm hoping that will change soon when I get a job....

It may not be a "ground breaking piece of artwork", but it is realistic enough, and it touches a vital point of my lazy self. So I 'ed it *sticks tongue out*
