Well, I was part inspired by George Stark (from King's The Dark Half) and Trevor Phillips, (especially the inspiration for the soundtrack)
And yeah, I think 1982-era Bad Religion would've been a good idea, but I'm not too sure right now. He might get a new playlist sometime in the future.
And yeah, The Rotting Man. I've been trying to come up with an ending, but I can't find any new ideas on how to make the story work, and of course, you read my journal about my stressful circumstances right now, so I can't find a good ending (hell, I can't even start on the story right now), so...I'm afraid it'll be a while before I can conclude the story.

I'l be honest, I haven't heard of most of those bands. (AC/DC I have heard of...) And I agree with crazytintinlover, Eminem has some good stuff, like his new one Rap God might fit... sort of.

Well, I thought about that, but I haven't really listened to much rap. Besides, this character was based on what he was listening and feeling about at the time, and not a ripoff of Trevor from Gta 5, I don't know where you get the idea...
But yeah, I know it's not familiar with most people. Sorry. :/

I thought about that, but I don't really think he would be much of a fan of rap music. I might write someone who likes rap and hip hop sometime in the future, perhaps.
