Actually in the split second before the sun goes below the horizon it does flash green. Not sure if it always does that but it's a known phenomenon so, this is purely ironic. XD

Really? I have to say, I have never been able to experience that in my entire life. And with all the sunsets I've seen, that says something.

I haven't wither, I've seen videos of it from weather people mostly. It looks pretty much like how you did it there except it's just the tiniest slit just before it drops below the horizon. So you gotta look close yet try not to go blind at the same time. XDD
