Shahyar always loved a good story, even if it was a lie. A lie was better than any hope reality could be for her.

Perhalps her love of stories stemmed from being raised by them as a filly, authored by 2111 l Khepresh . How he was a father and how her father was made of stars and galaxy dust such as she, desended from the desert skies to guide the mortals that resided on earth. From there she lived,breathed and relished in worship of Khepresh's herd/cult where she grew into the role as an assistant/second command to her father's wishes, stemming from completing rituals, defending their terriroty, and rekindling any momentariy disgruntled worshipper. This was her life, her duty and her whole self.

It was all a lie.

She found out, jaw agaped that her father was not born of the stars, his pelt not of the galaxy but born of one of dull white. His pelt given by a different god, an uncredited one. The dull white was a fitting color for him, as the stallion apologized for his lies while at the same time justifing them with an means to an end, a justifed one at that. He begged her to understand, and when she did, he begged her to forgive him and when she di that,he begged her to enable,to continue the lie for all the others. Pushed to her absolute limits, the desert mare barely agreed to this, not wanting to cause the others the pain and hollowness she now had.

Shahyar continued her work but it held no more passion thus no more magic for her. The rituals quickly just became stages that needed props set up, no longer able to give faith talks, and defending the territory became no long an act of glory and honor but shame and protecting a secret. She began to hate herself for she had bulit herself around this persona that turned out to be false and hoped one day a way out of this life. She no longer threatens outsiders but now more acts as a distraction, wanting meet better people to look up to.
Quirks:
-On and off again girlfriend of 6137 l Xiomara . She adores her stories but is super poecessive so they're taking a break until Shahyar can work through some baggage.
- Though Shahyar has tried to stepped down from the idea that she is a goddess, she still subcouniously believes she is above reproach. This mostly shhows up when she is dealing with outsiders and their tales aren't intesting enough to her and she chases them off or worst, leave them with a few scars.
-Hurt most by that Khepresh isn't her father...and yet, glad of it too.
-Was happier in a lie, thinks now lies are just now better edits to reality.That being said, she's not a liar herself nor a storytelling but has an increbly abiltiy to visualize words.

CommentaryWelp the story would be a lot better if Khepresh has spants but waitting on a stat payment for that to happen. Still I love this girl so much and I can't thank complacentfool enough for her horns <3<3 And Naumachial art just brings her to life!! Hope I can do something with her in the near future.
