Summertime Sins: Over the sounds of The Forest and Puck yelling out brunch orders in various accents, your Ballator hears a soft plea– “Highlordess… something has blocked our way to The Crypts and now we have this-“ Your Ballator whips around quickly, eager to see what Ares’ Hunter could have found, but the Highlordess’ has risen to her hooves and blocks their gaze. Mostly. Your Ballator catches a glimpse of two of Ares’ Hunters, one of which seems sickly and injured, it’s eyes glowing an eerie red and crystal like growths growing around its horns. Before your Ballator can get a good look, the Hunters and Ares disappear in a blaze of The Highlordess’ fire.

Fascinating- No,no,no that wasn’t right. The scene before Xiomara was captivating- her highlord Ares, mouth opened in what could only be described as shock horror. Across from her was plains worshipper, one that Xiomara could not take her eyes off of- particularly his horns. Crystal formation feasted on the dull red horns. Ares’s natural flames light bounced and reflected off of these crystal growths but however her light wasn’t the only one; an even brighter glow pulsed under the plain’s cloth was, where his eyes should have been.

With all this, it was difficult for Xiomara to hear his strained words but there was no time for interpretation - Ares took them both in a blaze of fire.

A smile crept on the chimera’s lips, her heart beating wildly in her chest. Without the red star, Xiomara had begun to feel a bit sleepy, even throughout the festivities. The dangers oof the unknown had awakened her.

Lol Xiomara enjoying her fellow hunter’s pain and her highland’s distress. We can attribute this bad writing to a bad mood right?

Wheeeee this one was a doozy. I had actually done the middle panel before all the other prompts- and still didn’t know how to use the design pencil brush. So I got stuck, went to do the other prompts, came back to this and got stuck again. I wanted something a little dramatic because the prompt is so awesome so I decided to add those little panels- I’m so glad I did, they were soo fun to do!! Big thank you to Fade--Touched for letting me use Drek’Thar in this, he couldn’t be more perfect for this prompt!!
