Here is a drawing of Sissi virtualized on Lyoko. She has been rumored to be joining the gang next season so, I had to get a pic done before the real version is revealed if indeed it ever happens. I cheated a bit by using an old drawing of Sissi I made, reversing the image and changing the facial expression and the clothes. I wanted an almost mirror image because I am planning to use both the original and this drawing on a tee shirt design. I know there is no way that my design will look anything like the one that they come up with on the show but a fellow can dream, can't he.Related content

That would have been be perfect. I sure wish we would have got a chance to see her in Lyoko. Her interaction with the rest of the gang was always my favorite part of that show.

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate that. It is a fine line that I'm sure I've crossed a few times. I've always thought that if you make them too big you completely lose the sexiness factor. It becomes parody. But to tell you the truth, I don't draw boobs big just for titilization. I think the style of my characters just look better top heavy.

Hi Chris, Thank you very much. I thought this was the season that big things were going to be happening on Code Lyoko. With all of the troubles they had gotten themselves into with parents and teachers, I thought for sure more people were going to have to be recruited into the circle. The whole season so far has been a bit of a let down. I like the idea of them fighting Xana in the real world but everything else, the replica Lyokos, the ship with the stupid name and the writers totally forgetting the story line they laid out in season three (ex. like the fact that Yumi was going to be expelled if she missed one more class and that Ulrich's dad wanted to pull him out of Cadic for failing grades and also that Odd has pissed off every girl in the school) have left me cold.

Well, part of that could also be the english translators. If they messed with stuff, then things could have been portrayed inaccurately before.
(Not saying I know what's going on, I've missed both Three and Four. But that's one possiblility.)

Wackiness aside, all I have to say is that this picture is brilliant in every single way. You've managed to capture the show's spirit while at the same time highlighting your own creative interpritation of the character creating quiet the vibrant and fresh piece of artwork. The inking and details on the face and outfit really blew me away and I hope you keep drawing and improve your already marvelous artistic style.

Hi G Force, I wanted to thank you for the very enthusiastic comment you sent on my Sissi and Emily pics. I would like to say that everything you said about capturing the spirit of the show and creative inspiration was exactly what I was going for but, the truth is I was just hoping that when I was done you could tell who it was supposed to be. (I've been told by a few people that my pic of Yumi doesn't look anything like her). It's great to meet another person that really seems to enjoy the show, which brings me to your fanfics. I just spent the last hour or so reading your interpretation of Teddygodzilla. It was a truly inspired piece of work. That first season of LC was decent but I never thought they did a very good job of introducing the chacacters. Your treatment should be required reading for anyone that plans to watch. You were able to flesh out the characters better with your story than they were able to do over half the season. Heck, and you even introduced new characters. I especially liked you giving us the thoughts and motivations of the bear. It went from being a mindless engine of distruction to a villian with a purpose. Great job on everything.

Wow, thank you for your words of praise. I just hope that you continue to read the Retelling Series to continue to see where both the story and the ACCs develop. Hopefully you'll take a liking to Jin Ishiyama as I tried my best to create a likeable character that was both defined in his own right while at the same time not a spotlight hog. That and I'm crossing your fingers that you'll enjoy his Lyoko form both abilities and weapons wise. Like the show, his outfit represents a certain element of Asian culture but in a slightly different sense from Yumi and Ulrich.

That's pretty cool, you've gone for an Amazonian huntress look. That's interesting choice considering I the show bases a lot of the look on the Japanese warrior. Ulrich, Samurai, Yumiβ¦ Iβm actually not sure what the proper name for her look is. See I think Geisha, however Geishas were professional entertainers, story tellers, music, dancing and other thing to that vain. And let's be frank Yumi is not a story teller. My only problem with the picture is the hip are two small and when you torso it looks out of proportion. Then again, I've noticed in your pictures you give the females rather fair busy. Still, thatβs your style so go with it. All in all though a great picture.
P.S. I've always liked the idea of Odd and Sissi

Hi Peter, Thanks for giving Sissi a peek. When I started to draw this my first thought was to go with the Japanese theme but, then I thought of Odd. He really doesn't follow that pattern. I decided the costumes are based on the wearers personality. I decided Sissi needed something that would make her stand out because of her constant need for attention and need to be noticed. This outfit will get her noticed. And I agree with you on the body proportions but I think it has more to do with the size of the head. On the cartoon, the mellons they stick on top of these kids shoulders are gigantic. I tried to keep that in my drawing but I think it looks odd too. The bodies just don't fit.
As for the Sissi /Odd match up, have you seen the still that is being circulated from the third seson. It show these two about to kiss. I for one would like to see that happen. They have to bring Sissi into the fold. Odd/Sissi, Ulrich/Sissi, Jeremy/ Sissi, Yumi/Sissi. I don't care. Just give me more Sissi.

That's a fair point, you are indeed right, Odd is a cross between a kinder cat like creature and something purple? Yeah thinking about it, matching personality does sound right. As for the proportions... I always feel a bit cheeky when I point it out, because I'm terrible at drawing humans. I have a huge with getting the anatomy right, for me it's arms and leg length.
Still practise makes perfect. On the Sissi note. I really how she does join the team, I think her character could use the build up. Also, I would like to she her and Odd start a relationship. If the writers play it right, they could have something moving and humourous. And as for the breast issue, (Yes, we knew it was going to come up) I was going to disagree, but having recently seen "marabuto" again and seeing the pool scene. I had think, "Actually Weezlcheez got a point."

Hi Brite Star, Thank you. When I started to draw this I was going to give her a battle axe but the more I thought about it the more I liked the idea of a spear type weapon. I thought about the story and decided it made the most sense. It can be trust at an opponent like a sword, it can be throw like a spear and it can be used like a staff to beat Xana's minions senseless. It's the perfect weapon. As for the costume, I don't see the resemblance. It's just the product of my over active hormones.
