Sketchs traditionally, coloring digitally

I'm so glad how it came out! I don't have time to color my plenty sketchs, so I decided to color this one digitally while drinking a coffee.

Hmmm.....I think I'll continue this idea, because it's so fun!

Dragonair

These mythical water dragons are really rare, even more than in past. Beautiful wings-like ears and jewels are in demand by many poachers. Poachers were hunting for sell these parts of Dragonair's body as angel's feathers, water essence and other illegal but so expensive things on black market.
Just in one century these Pokemons became endangered species and they are really timid.

Many Pokemon professors are studing this Pokemon species
and they are interested especialy in specific part of their DNA.

Wings-like ears are ears, but outside they look like bird wings. And they have layers of feathers, like bird wings. But inside they are different. After evolution, a part of DNA that is responsible to grow Dragonair's ears is responsible to create wings AND feathers on Dragonite. Professors still don't know how it works, because wings on Dragonite's back grows normally like other dragon Pokemon species.

Dragonite

Maybe they look like european dragons, but they are more related to asian dragons. Dragonair is a water and gentle dragon that is near our japanese Lungs.
(remember: blue dragons are special ones, connected with elements, they live near water and....pearl.
Japanese dragons always cares a pearl in their hand. Dragonair design, these jewels comes from asian myths)

A specific part of Dragonair DNA changes a bit while evolving and Dragonites have gentle feathers on head and strong wings on their back. Because they don't fly very often, rather swims, so they don't unfold fully wings. In water big wings are a problem. Dragonites usually have half unfoldes winds, so they look really small as for dragons. In past it created a mistake that Dragonites can't fly using small wings and they use a magic powers to fly. Now we know that it was a mistake.

Paws are really strong, the same jaws. But claws aren't sharp, because they don't need sharp claws while climbing on cliffs. Strong jaws doesn't has sharp teeth as for example Salamence has. Dragonite doesn't use them to fight; strenght is used only to crush or open shells.
