EDIT: changed Faustus' injuries to match what actually happened to him.

Also, the reason this had to be re-uploaded was because Deviantart wouldn't let me edit the file. It kept saying something about the new file needing to be the same type as the original. I've never had this problem before, so I just gave up and re-uploaded it. The worst part is that I keep these files in order with the option to arrange deviations from oldest to newest, but now I can't do that without having to manually move this page into its proper spot. I'm quite pissed at that right now.

Here's the old description:
Yep. I'm pretty much going to start over this whole thing. It's been bugging me how not-so-great the the story is being told with the older pages, so I took it upon myself to go back and do it over again. I don't mind mainly because of one thing: my experience with the other pages gives me an opportunity to tell the story better. It's gonna be a long time before I can catch up with where I left off, but with my new goals to stick with one art style (in this case, just line art) and try to limit my layer count, I should be fine. I'm going to try to make this prologue much shorter than the other one.
