Description In the late 80's my older siblings rented a whole lot of movies. Some would leave an impression on me that would never leave( looking at you, "Howard the Duck"), though a lot of times all I could remember were the weird openings  like "Strange Brew", "One Crazy Summer", and the subject of this submission, "Mannequin". All I could remember about the film was the plot, the prologue, and a animated sequence set to what I thought for all these years was "Walk like an Egyptian", but turns out was a song by Belinda Carlisle, who also left a weird impression on me at the time with the video for "Heaven is a Place on Earth", but I digress. Coming back to the film some 25+ years later I was surprised to find the animation was by Sally Cruikshank, who I gained an appreciation for through the years thanks to "Sesame Street" and "Quasi at the Quakaderro". I just keep watching that opening over and over. Maybe one of these years I'll get around to watching the rest of the movie. Maybe.

"Mannequin" is (c)MGM.
