My (Male) Nincada from Pokemon Ruby. Most likely I'll transfer him to Platinum when that game comes out March 22.He has a Hardy nature (if I'm not mistaken).

I found a live cicada nymph once. It's rare to find live nymphs because we usually only see their husks. This one had gotten knocked out of a tree after a rain so I found it a new home in a new tree and gave it a chance to continue its life-cycle.

Cicadas occur every year in summer, lasting til early fall, but each generation is 13 to 17 years old depending on species. As nymphs, they live 13 or 17 years, but only live about a month as adults.
