Actual non-silly theory: Apparently the r sound in Quenya is often meant to be a soft r, which is very close to an l, so actually everybody is wrong and Feanor is disappointed in us.

Maedhros messes up the spelling on accident because he’s not used to writing with his left. And he just leaves it like that on the official map because he didn’t want to ask for help.
Also!!! Absolutely amazing and stunning!! Love love love the pose!!! And you color so beautifully!!! The tones are so pretty!! And you’ve draw his scars so nicely!! I always really struggle with those. But you’ve executed it perfectly!!! And his clothes!! Wonderful!!
