Description
The VV-6 Hercules is the first Hero Factory walker to see production. Unlike it's predecessors it is not overly heavy, complex, or expensive. The design lingered in development hell for a long time. The cost of the project rose rapidly and the technology was not available at the time. The project saw heavy cost cuts and eventually the one Hercules MKI prototype was dismantled. The Project was eventually revived as the Hercules MKII. The evolved design fit the bill and was put into production*This bio is a fictional version of what actually happened. I'm a big fan of walkers and mech-suits and the like. I've attempted many before but they had two problems:
-They were too top heavy
-They didn't have strong enough legs
I attempted building the VV-6 with these problems being considered. Though the end result showed promise, It still wasn't good enough. I also during the original construction ran out of parts to build a second legs. I had decided that I would require the friction pieces that the Ultrabuilds come with and more double socket pieces. Weeks later I had managed to scrape together the second leg, but I still didn't have the friction pieces. At that point I finally disassembled the whole shebang. Months later at present I did a bit of R&R (rebuild and revamp) and presto, you guys finally get to see this gargantuan MOC

From what I can see, even with the new HF ball-cup construction, it looks like a very sturdy suit of, well, armor!
I like the use of the Toa Metru heads as the part of the hand the fingers connect at. It's hard to tell what's going on at certain points on certain limbs, but it looks well armored, and certainly a formidable exo-machine.
Let's just hope this technology doesn't fall into the wrong hands..
