I refuse to make any more puns!!!11!!Sorry, I ran out of puns to do with electricity on the last deviation of this guy. Any suggestions?
Volt works for the Hero Factory for specialized missions. His body being a walking Dynamo makes him very useful in certain missions. He also carries large capacitors on his back to store electricity for when he needs it most. Unfortunately he also sometimes needs to release excess power so he has twin cathodes on his chest to release power.
Alright, well I was bored yesterday and I felt the need to make a MOC for you guys. I thought a Rahi would be easy (It wasn't) so I made Hyperstar. Sadly Hyperstar didn't turn out as nicely as I wanted him to, so I tried thinking of a color that I hadn't used in a while. An old idea for a full sized version of Charge fit the bill, so I decided to make him. He actually turned out extraordinarily well considering my lack of pieces right now. Afterwards Hyperstar got rebuilt into what I just posted, but if he hadn't been bad at first I never would have built Volt.
At some point I also realized his electrical weapon made a nice axe, so here's a picture of that.

*update 24/July/2014* I'd revamped Volt a few months ago, but never gotten around to updating the deviation. Sorry for the poor lighting one of my lights had a bulb burn out (it was even a fluorescent one, never seen that before). I'm probably moving soon so stuff is hectic. But I wanted to post Volt's new design in case I take him apart for the move. His electrical axe photo still shows his original version, I didn't bother updating it because the axe mode works exactly the same way. Hopefully I'll get around to improving the photo when I have a chance

If I was a (Post) Hero Factory villain, I would be Lord Quaza.
Appearance:
Stands 13 feet tall, wears white, black, blue, red, green and purple armour, has 2 pairs of arms and 2 legs and has a heavy Russian, scruffy English and deep Jamaican accents. The voice is layered to the point where 3 people are talking together.

Awesome gas mask. How did you pull that off (I mean how it's attached)? Did you just glue it?

Well it's attached by one of those bushings with a rubber band wrapped around. It's just snug enough to hold it on, but it's not strong enough to hold on if he's being moved roughly

Definitely liking what I'm seeing here, though the single shot makes it a little confusing on what's going on with that mask/gas mask thing you did. I feel a little conceited saying this but I can't help but wonder if any of my style or techniques influenced this a little. The feet remind me of Furnace's feet and the way you used the Glatorian/HF variant fists was done on Matteo, then the fingers in the HF armor, I did that with Nui-Moko but I know that's been done by many other's as well. This MOC for some reason feels a lot like a cross between something you'd do and how I'd go about building it if I were to make it, does that make sense? I can't quite put it into words but something about the way you built him feels very familiar to me. That being said I quite like the little dude.

Well I see what you're saying, but most of those things can be attributed to the fact that yellow is one of the worst colors for MOCing. The selection of yellow Bionicle and Hero Factory pieces is pretty terrible. So I'm basically using a handful of very common pieces that are difficult to use in ways besides how they were intended, so naturally this MOC uses a lot of techniques that have been done before. And of course naturally I've seen all of your MOCs so some of that stuff seeps in. Although honestly it's difficult to figure out where I got some of these ideas. For example I assumed that I got the hand design from LolPretzel. And like I say certain areas that are copied from other MOCs are only like that due to necessity. The hip-hands that Matteo had are in this guy because I don't have any yellow sockets.
BTW, I think you can get a better shot of his gas mask from the supplementary photo.

I took another look, and the only thing the two share is the mask. They aren't extremely similar in terms of build either
