This little statement made Bulma feel both happy and upset. Happy, because this boy is so pure and satisfied with his life that he doesn't want to wish for anything that money can buy. But also made her upset, since it seemed as her friend was trying to weasel out of a new adventure with her.

-You mean Grandpa's memento? Oh yeah, I want to find it and bring it back to his house at Mount Paozu!-his face beamed.

Bulma's heart jumped, since she was finally starting to process what's happening around her: she's gonna go on an adventure with her best friend, again. Just like in old times. The only difference is that Goku is an adult now. And unarguably hot. She knew she should feel ashamed of herself, having these thoughts only a few hours after breaking up with Yamcha, but all she could sense was a rising satisfaction from the bottom of her heart. She could also put in her two cents that something is going to happen during this adventure, but even the mere thought made her blush, and tried to get it out of her head for now.

-The dinner you promised, of course! I'm starving!-and the boy rubbed his stomach with both of his hands.
-Wow. He's so adorable. Incredible-she thought, as his innocent laughter filled the air. -I think... I think he's the sweetest guy I have ever seen. And to go on an adventure with him, only to cater for my selfish needs? How could I even think of corrupting his purity? No wonder that yellow cloud hates me... In that moment, she felt as a strong arm wrapped around her waist, and picked her up as if she weighted nothing, her feet were no longer touching the dirt beneath.
-Goku!!! I can't ride that cloud! Let me get my airplane!-she protested, as she saw that they were taking off, and everything on the ground started to shrink by a few inches.
-Sorry, that's too slow, and I'm really hungry, so grab on tight, this gonna be fast-he smiled, as Bulma was dangling at his side like a rag doll, since he piled her up at her stomach, tucking her under his right arm.
-No please, not like this, at least hold me with two hands, I don't wanna fall dammit!-she yelled at her friend, who apparently listened to her plea, because he slipped his other hand under her thighs and picked her up bridal style. He also started to lower himself into a cross-legged sitting position, centering Bulma's butt in his lap, supporting her back with his right hand, and wrapping the other around her knees.
-This is the safest pose I can think of-he explained, misinterpreting the blush that spread across Bulma's face as a sign of fear. -You're not gonna fall, don't worry!
