Description
Also known as Epione the Healer, and Epione the Calm Before the Storm.

Her name is pronounced "eh-p-ee-AW-n-ee", and she's named after a Greek goddess of healing.

Epione was the daughter of Skwynne Queen of Hours. From birth Epione as born weak and has always been sick with something. She was in such a state there was talk of letting her younger sister; Waxxine become Queen instead. Unfortunately, Skywynne died suddenly due to an accident with one of her spells, and Waxxine was only a child at the time, so Epione still become queen.

Like her mother, she had an enormous knack for making spells. While Skywynne specialised in time, Epione speciality was healing spells. It was rumoured that there was no illness nor injury that she couldn't treat... other than her own.

For unknown reasons, Epione could never invent a spell that could heal the user. She could heal non-humans like Waterfolk, animals like Warnicorns, even celestrial/magical beings like Omnitraxus Prime and Glossaryck, but never herself.

This became her downfall, as she eventually succumb to one of her many illnesses. This lead to her daughter, only 14 at the time, to rule... Eclipsa Butterfly.

Some design notes. I used one of the online face morphs to create Epione, made from faces of Skywynne and Eclipsa. Her eyes are light blue, but thanks to heterochromia, also have Eclipsa's purple eye colour. She dresses in greens to keep on the theme of "sickliness". Her cheekmarks are clouds for two reasons; to represent her "calm before the storm" status, and because she's always "under the weather"

I would like to thank jgss0109 for allowing me to use some of their art to create the base of this drawing. In the future, I will draw her in my own style, but I wanted to do her in SVTFOE style first.
