Wonderful picture. I like the lighting a lot, and how you can see the huge clouds before the sun pops out. I especially also like how the road appears to go, and curve into where the sun is coming out. Just a really good picture. :]

Well, the composition is a vell proved one. The leading lines of the road creates depth. But, this photo suffers from the fact that it's a low quality mobile phone snapshot. If I was in your shoes I would really consider buying a proper camera, with proper lenses and some graduated neutral density filters

Now i have one
And you must agree with that the picture is great for being taken with mobile camera!

Thanks a lot.

Wow, personally I think all the things you mentioned turned out really well, so I'm not sure how much help I'll be able to be! I really like how there's so much contrast in this image, the most prominent being the bright sunlight coming down in the middle of the dark clouds and road - I think the central positioning of the light works really well in emphasising this. I also love the look of the clouds themselves, with the sprinklings of blue and orange among the greys, showing that there's something brighter above the darkness.

The position/angle of the road looks great too, stretching out into the distance and then making a turn. I think the turn in the road makes the picture look more interesting than it would if it just disappeared off into the horizon - especially because it turns in the direction of the bright sunlight, as if following the road will lead you out of the darkness.

So basically, I can't really think of much to say to improve this! The image does look a bit pixelated, but that could just be my monitor, or the compression on dA - I'm sure it looks much crisper in print!

considering what it was taken with, great shot! If you're serious about capturing those highly detailed and depthy clouds/ closer view of the rays / a wider angle... you may have to invest in an actual camera with alternating lenses and filters and shizz. But as a phone snapshot, this is great. You have an eye for images, and would benefit from even a small handheld camera. Agreed with the idea of maybe cropping the left side, square it, and put the focus on the horizon's light

I like this image alot. It really jumped out at me, such vibrant darkness and contrast, and the way the sun rays shine through is such a beautiful moment in nature, well caputured. Perhaps there is too much cloud? IMO there is a bit too much, distracting me from the beautiful sunset beneath it. However it is a brilliant shot, congratulations!

aahh, i agree. maybe there is to much clouds.
But i want to keep it original. But maybe i should take a look at it and maybe clear the sky up ( I've learned a lot sence i took this picture and can do much more in photoshop now) But i dont really know how i can do that hmm, but you maybe have some tip, tutorial or link?

You have som awesome words there, and i thank you so much for looking and giving me your feedback.

Oh my...
I think this is an interesting piece! I really loved how the road, the sky, the cloud and the colors blend into one. Like they really fit into each other. And I don't think there's a problem at all with it. But have you tried some bokeh? I think your picture here would be so lovely to have some bokeh in it!
Just an opinion...

I know that you have had the suggestion to crop out some of the clouds, but I think I might try just the opposite. I think the clouds on a whole are more interesting than the road. So I would be tempted to crop a little off the bottom, lower the horizen line and take it just a little bit lower than your normal thirds rule. I think this would create more interest in the shot as well as provide a more interesting dynamic.

Very nice colors, the light in the sky just really pops. The road looks a little wierd though, did you use HDR?

Great piece though!

Whooooaaaaa. I love how the light shines through back there! And the road looks cool too! I noticed that someone already mentioned the grainyness of the photo, so I won't worry about that. It might help to crop out some of the excess clouds on the top. That way the sky in the distance can be the main focus. Hope this helps!

I really love how you caught the light from the clouds back in the picture. It almost look like something made on the computer. However. I do think that the quality on the photo is a little low and therefore the picture itself loose a little status. And I also think the ground to the left is far to dark. I mean, sure it can be dark. But as it is now. It's almost black. As for the light again. I like how you can see the top of the roof of a house as well. The road really brings something to the picture especially since it's turning the same way the light comes from. Like it's drawn that way or something. Really cool.

Very glad that you like it and i agree with you.
It could be less darker in the left side but then i thought i got bad quality so i took it like this.
The road to me is exactly what you think, a way to the shining spot from the sky. Like it to.

Thanks for your really good feedback, and keep watching. As usual
