i like the icons and how you designed the newsfeed and timeline but I dont really like using a textured image for the log in page. It takes away the simplicity and the sleeknes of FB. Also it would make loading slower i'm in a 3rd world country and I'm sure if the login page ended up like that fb would be loading for more than 5 mins.
