This is an awesome capture, and the tilt is downright brilliant. I love the textures because they look so... cold. Really cool picture.

I love the specks of ice so much, and I think they add a stillness and beauty to this picture way more than expected. The macro style is great – I like that it's such a mystery. Just enough to be intriguing, but not enough to be easily identified. Wonderful.

I like the colours and shadows. You could make give it a bit deeper midtone, but be careful not to lose the texture of the metal.

Just work a lil bit on the lightning and contrast
The focus is good, in my opinion

I love this, it gives me a calm feelings and it makes me think of winter.
Too bad there's no snow left here..

The focus looks great, the composition= perfect. Definately one of the best captures I've seen very interesting and captivating to look at too as the snow has settled in strange patterns, you have quite and eye on you I think that the dark lighting complements the snow, too much brightness is distracting, the way it is allows both the snow and arrow to stand out without competing for attention

All in all awesome work Not sure how valuable my input is since then I'm not a photographer, but I think it looks great

It's a really lovely motive you found yourself there - and I love those little ice crystals on it!

When wathed in full view, I think it seems a little shaky - there's some blur I can't explain both in the top and the bottom of the picture. It's a shame, but it's not enough to ruin the photo

The colors are pretty and, well, non-existing - it's almost a grey-scale picture! with some brown in it. I really like it though - it's calming

If I were you, I would make the photo just a little more bright

A nice clean image. I really like it. Though I think if the colors had been brighter it would've had a bit more of an impact. Focus and composition are good. Keep it up.

Hmm, my first suggestion would be taking the photo in a
lighter setting, or using a setting on your camera with
brightness upped a little. Post-processing photoshop could
be an option, but I'm not all that great with those things.
Another idea would be if you showed more of the arrow, like
the tip. I like the texture in the metal a lot by the way.

Very nicely composed shot. I like the subject's intricacies and the detail showing on it. The texture is great.

The blue represents the cold well, however, I think the blue area is a little big, which flattens the image a little. Perhaps brightening a few sections of the snow selectively could work to enhance this image.

Yes it is better, yet, I think the brightest parts of the snow should be close to white. The nuances of blue would still keep the cool feeling, but a little more contrast could be nice.

The detail on the texture of the arrow is superb, and the focus is clear enough that one can make out the individual shapes of the snowflakes. However, towards the bottom of the arrow the picture becomes slightly blurry, and I also feel that there could be more of a contrast between the subject and the background (perhaps you could brighten up the snow?)
But still, an interesting and solid effort.

Wow. I'm not much of a photographer myself, so I can't really nitpick this too much, but your composition is very nice. It's an excellent capture of those fine little snow crystals, but I do agree with one of the above posters that it could use a little lightening up, just for contrast.

I think your focus is spot-on. However, it does look a little dark. The arrow itself is fine, but I think it might look better if you brightened up the snow.
