I saw this on Google and made a DeviantArt account just to tell you how amazing this is, and that it's the first time I've seen an art piece that so perfectly uses the impossible geometry aspect of Lovecraft's description. This is really exactly what I'm going to envision whenever I think of R'lyeh.Β

Amazing! This is the first version of R'lyeh I've seen that really utilizes the "impossible geometry" that Lovecraft describes it as without making it look just like anΒ M. C. Escher drawing lol.
