This got crazier than the Earth boss, and this piece pretty much made me realize that I was going overboard with detail, in a bad way.And so one of this year's resolutions is to keep the details organized @__@

This is amazing. The color and details drew me into inspecting all your intricate, horrovaccuous, laborious detailing, which I LOVE but have NONE of the patience for. I was sucked right into the central purple heart shaped space that everything points to. Β I think it would unify all your shapes with if it Β faded into black. Like it should lol

But seriously, this is absolutly great. i would like to see him in a FF Game, i'm sure that it could be one of the most epic and spectacular boss fight among the greatest !

Excellent detail work, though. Each individual flicker of flame has its own detailing, and it builds towards the eventual actualization of the fire elemental. The only flaw I can see is the particles across the ground; in some cases, especially near the left-bottom, it seems too closely gathered, too far from the lines of lava.
I cannot see other flaws in the work; it is a magnificently detailed piece. Well done.

i have to agree... this actually makes my eyes hurt just a bit.. fire a little too bright with fine details makes hard to look at for any length of time

I understand what you mean by the detail overload, but I don't think that you would be able to pull it off without the amount of detail that you put into it. The creature is both easily prevalent and subtly hidden, like a true flame the image seems to flicker in and out. I personally love this.

Honestly? I don't think I could muster up something this detailed in less than sixty or seventy.
He isn't only dedicated, but is very quick in his work. That's what is so spectacular about his art - detailed, yet he gets it done quickly.
