this was both a fun and Challenging Tribe, at the time I liked that they had so many cracks and pieces, but if I were to draw them again now, they would have bulkier pieces. =] I really like the cactus on the girl, but in the end they will probably use a flower version of her instead.we will have the flower version on our facebook page, check it out at www.facebook.com/enascentia

Too many fissures, maybe it would be better to draw bigger stones for some body parts, for example male's chest seems more OK than female's. Also some gems and crystals would add colors and be more consistent with the concept of flesh made of rock than plants. Overall I don't like female concept. And those plants could be replaced by lichen if you had to add something more than rock.

I'm kinda imagining older versions of them with crystals on their shoulders, with strips of unrefined metal streaking their chests and legs. Less defined cracks, softer edges, with chips, divots, and cracked pieces every now and again.

Stone is very hard to draw I admit, primarily because it has distinct faces and shadows associated with those faces. So I understand how it's hard to compromise all of those.
I wasn't sure if the Rok`nar girl's arm vines are extensions to her "hair" or if they're a compromise for her missing lower left arm.

FOr the girl, flowers would make her more sweet just due to it being the norm, cause something about cacti tells me that i shouldn't put them on my own body XD. Not like they care since they are rock people XD. Come to think of it cactus add a bit of mysteriousness, and feels different.

Good lord, look at the rock texturing... thats unbelievable.
I'm not loving the newer stuff as much as the Anima stuff, the style is a little more ... mmm.. I guess I'd call it fantasy/americany but the drawings themselves are always phenomenal, every time.
