There's something very personal and special about having a non-show style. Seeing stuff in a show style can get boring after a while, so a different style gives some fresh perspective : )

I really, really love your style, it makes everything seem so fresh and interesting I wouldn't say the show style gets boring, just harder to make it look outstanding

Thanks thanks so much! It's is kinda hard to make look outstanding, perhaps because the ponies in the show are probably designed to be easy to animate(after all, it's made in flash so it has it's pros and cons) and look good.

Well, it is harder to make an art style that works just as well as yours, though, you can get ones that work sometimes, but not ones that work like yours The show's style is incredibly good, I think, for what it is, it's very refreshing, but then again, it does get samey if all the fanart is in the same style

Oh I know you are (That's true, I know, but then again, sonic OCs usually make you...hmm...how to put this...kinda meh, I guess, unless you're exeptional)

Ah, what I mean with the Sonic OC...when we're younger we don't know as much, and we don't have taste either, so we're not inhibited by things such as "color palette" and "this design is crap". As we get older, we must not be inhibited by the masters, or else we'll just get stuck while we are in awe.
