As a kit, he was always singled out as the 'weird one' because he liked toms. His litter-mates were homophobic, and most likely still are. He was pushed to become a medicine cat apprentice as he was told that he would 'never get a mate'. He overall has a good relationship with his parents, who are accepting of his sexuality, but still recommended he became a medicine cat. He hasn't been apprenticed for long, but so far he's learned a few herbs off by heart and knows how to cure minor wounds.
