I think the coloring on both was very good, and although I'm not much into eastern comic styling, this really does have an appeal to it.

Both pictures are well done. I like the color contrast in this one because it looks like all this occured before morning instead of the other which looked like it was at night or the sun was setting. I like both though, they're very well done. ^__^

Yeah, this is my favorite one of the two, actually there's a couple more versions done by other colorists that i haven't gotten copies of, but i'm glad you like it, thank you very much!

the lighting is awesome, but it still somehow doesn't convey the mood the artwork is trying to evoke.

Yeah, I actually. agree. I should've added tons of blood and gore but this was basically a last minute submission. But thanks anyway for pointing it out. I'll try and do better next time, promise!
