History:

Luda's "humble" origins begin somewhere other than the realm he resides in today...he says somewhere "quite east", which is technically correct, but leaves out some important contextual details.

He once lived within a plane that wasn't quite here, but also rather nearby: a plane of life for demons, by demons, directly under the feet of Lilypad's own ground. Everything about Lilypad's world is essentially a demon-centric rip-off down below: to put things in perspective, they have a McDemon's, but many physical characteristics of the world are some shade of red, the stereotypical demon color. Unfortunately, they are extremely closed for tourists, as the universe is nearly impossible to access and digging underground doesn't work...sorry kids, we have McDemon's at home. However, the demons can't access the Lilypad realm either, as their bodies are highly composed of magic and too intangible to exist in the more physical universe.

Ludacrisp is the crowned king of this little corner of space-time and for many years has been observing the plane below his own, taking inspiration from their developments and using them for his own kingdom--which confirms he's the one who came up with McDemon's--thus advancing his world's technology to mirror the one alongside it. To put it simply: his kingly status is the equivelent of a worldbuilding OC creator.

What is he the king of? Why, money of course!

This man is filthy rich. He is a demon of greed and indulgence, enjoying the personal challenge of using passive methods to siphon loads of cash to his favor (Dells, to be specific) and manipulating his people into paying him for "below-world" knowledge. Luda is instinctually wired to always seek out life's best luxuries...but eventually, his world's luxuries began to become stale. Especially with his "there's more than one world out there" perspective.

Despite the mirrored similarities between the two planes, Ludacrisp began to pursue ways of traversing between them in order to experience the high-class comforts in the Lilypad universe, just to say he did: thus began the experimental process of finding a way out, eventually coming to the conclusion that he would need to somehow be summoned into the Lilypad universe despite being unable to communicate with it and set up his own demon markers there. Naturally, this meant he had to crash someone else's summoning party.

And that he did. Desperate yet cunning, he waited patiently for the optimal opening into the sweet, sweet Lilypad realm, one that had enough magical energy to carry him beyond his plane--when the chance was nigh, Luda unexpectedly hopped into an oncoming channel of magic and merged with the apparent sacrificial goat at the end to become a tangible, physical being of this new earth. The village cult that attempted to summon the other individual was dumbfounded as to what happened, or where the correct demonic entity was...while Luda pillaged their whole home clean of their riches to show his appreciation. He calls this his "edgy phase".

The demon carried on under the guise of a humble travelling merchant, experiencing all the wonderfully exciting things that were exactly the same as the things back home. He found that without knowing of his instinctual greed, the people in this realm tended to be a little more generous with their money as long as he had a good attitude and precice way with his words. Eventually he came into the possession of a magical pendant that granted him white witch status despite his black magic roots--he JUST spent all that time becoming a physical entity of this earth, who'd want to practice the intangible after that????

In current times, Luda has taken a strong interest in Lilypad after his "Creature Cauldron" stand was a smashing success, not only for the business potential but his interest in the townsfolk as well. He lives in an expansive mansion somewhere in the forest with his companion Honey, frequently seen hopping around and experimenting with the potion resources available.

Above all, of course: making mad stacks of bells.

White Magic: Capable of manipulating fire, water, and earth up to starting white witch capabilities. Cannot create these elements from thin air and can only sustain manipulation for a limited period of time.

Fire: Can bend pre-existing flames, smoke, and ashes to his will
Water: Can bend pre-existing water as well as manipulate it into ice and vapors. Can manipulate other forms of water and liquid as long as they are nearby
Earth: Can bend pre-existing various forms of earth, such as soil, rocks, nature, and sand. Can manipulate plants into growing or moving as long as they are nearby

Blessings: Ludacrisp is capable of casting the following beneficial spells:

Mental protection: Can protect other people from mind spells casted against them for a limited duration of time
Physical protection: Can cast a shield to prevent physical harm for a limited duration of time

Can communicate via mind between other people + other member-owned characters with explicit permission from the other party involved

Mind Block: Ludacrisp is immune to all powers of suggestion, mind reading, and hijacking without his clearance--block too strong to penetrate without his help.

Teleportation: Capable of disappearing for short distances and reappearing at will. Can only teleport long-distance if he sets up special summoning markers unique to him--he is the only one who can use these markers and cannot bring other people along with him on the ride (if he could he'd be charging for it). These markers exist for as long as the area around them remains untampered or Ludacrisp deactivates them himself: can have a maximum of 5 within an area

Magic Sense: Ludacrisp can sense the presence of supernatural energies others give off as a being of magic himself--keeps it to himself unless prompted by the other person, cannot nail the exact specifics of what a villager is or is capable of, only the fact they are magical in some form unless he is told
