History:

Pita is the youngest runt member of a very large family of brother, sisters, cousins...that all look exactly the same down to the small details like eye color and number of stripes. (Pita himself often questions how this is even possible at all) His purpose in life was laid out to him from the moment he was bestowed with a wooden sword and shield like the rest of his family: guard the Kat Kingdom. That was it. His job.

Which he, like many Kitten Knights, wore with pride. The tabby cat had many dreams and aspirations to climb the ranks from rookie to seasoned warrior, perhaps even being able to wield a powerful swordfish like the Royal Guards--as determined as the cat was, there was one problem in the form of his actual battle skills.

Pita couldn't fight to save his life. His swordsmanship was mediocre at best, he was clumsy, and he spent more time running away from opponents than towards them...this, of course, didn't waiver his passion. No matter how many times he was scolded, poked fun at, or picked up by the scruff of his neck, Pita's resolve was the only thing about him that was above average among the rest. They could snap him like a twig, but they couldn't take away his spirit!!

Until Princess Airazale was brought back to the kingdom.

The moment Pita hit the battlefield, he was at the mercy of MANY UNUSUALLY STRONG ENEMIES LIKE HE'S NEVER SEEN BEFORE. The cats he spared with daily were one thing, but this army--they were at an entirely new league. The only thing Pita could do was be a punching bag, but to his surprise: so were his siblings, who he thought were exceptionally strong and trained.

This, in combination with the noticeable passion and kinship from the unknown army, made Pita think hard on whether he was actually on the right side of things. His opponents, while incredibly intimidating, came in all shapes, sizes, and abilities...while his own side was comprised of many people who looked, trained, and fought the same. And it wasn't working.

The final straw came after he was distracted by a certain squirrel and his tennis ball, and Pita had enough. He was all out of energy by the first day! After living his entire life in the Kat Kingdom with his family, Pita thought long and hard, realizing that maybe he wasn't actually meant to be a strong warrior to the eyes of the militia, but rather one of many disposable meat shields for cats who were actually skilled...which is quite far from what he wanted.

And that's when he defected.

Joining the side of the Lilypad milita, they seemed to take Pita in quite soon once they realized he was on their side. (He ran into some difficulties at first but he made sure everyone knew he was the distinguishably short Kitten Knight, much to his internal embarrasment) He saw the determination and grief first hand, eventually coming to the conclusion that maybe the princess wasn't meant to be brought back in the first place: he even heard she was already married as he listened in on the whispers and conversations between members. What on earth went on beyond the starlit paths?????

By the middle point of the fight, the rookie took a particular interest in one member of the mysterious army: Leeks, along with the two individuals she came with to the kingdom. Being "kidnapped" by her dragon daughter wasn't as frightening of an experience as it could've been (he was kind of playing along given, y'know....she's six), but after observing the immense power Leeks held while being involved in a plot to defeat a particularly angry Royal Knight, Pita was enamored by the bounty hunter. Strong, brave, and apparently capable of shapeshifting--this one had it all!

Once he watched a giant serpent, who he recognized to be Leeks, deal an incredible number of damage to the massive ice dragon guarding the castle, Pita made up his mind--extremely terrifying woman. But he HAD to know how to be strong like that!!

It took a lot of bravery to do so, but once Lilypad's victory was declared, and everyone followed the paths back home...Pita hitched a ride, taking whatever personal belongings he had in his pocket inventory and nothing else. He knew he wouldn't be missed. He needed a fresh start and fulfilling life.

Pita immediately went to find Leeks in this unknown world before she went home--while she seemed notably ill and exhausted, the tabby cat greeted her with immense enthusiasm, begging her to teach him how to be strong and chivalrous. Leeks didn't quite see herself the same way, but soon realized the tabby had no home or idea on where he even ended up, eventually going against what she originally said about bringing him back to Lilypad and taking him under her wing for the time being.

Currently, Pita is staying in a spare guest room in Leeks's home, along with her daughter Sprinkles--both teaching him how the new world works with as much patience as they can muster. Leeks has taken on the task of training him to be a stronger fighter...to the best of her social abilities. He sees Takis and her baby Nacho rather often, also impressed by Takis's firey passion and combat skill for being a prey animal (not for much longer, however...), as well as Churro, who is also a close friend of Leeks. While he misses the comfort of knowing the ins and outs of his old home, he's developed some disapointment toward the actions of the Kat Kingdom, as well as the milita for how the Kitten Knights are raised and trained. He may perhaps run into some familar faces in this new town...

Other:

- Roughly 13 years old but often mistaken for a younger child

- Short, but still growing. 2'10

- Currently has very little knowledge of new word technology and terms, but on his way to learning

- Training with Leeks, trying his best

- Any attacks against the Kitten Knight can be treated as canon to Pita specifically if desired
