Description More of my cold-blooded killers. HOW JOLLY THEY LOOK!

There's four more batches of character concepts coming in a few minutes when i get em all scanned plus some more color studies when I have time.

but for now have some of the two you already know: Sideshot and Two-Horn. Was playing with some of their 'im not robbing trains right now' getups.
Sideshot looks so pleased in the upperright corner hahaha

I wondered if you drew the animal designs first, then did the human drawings of them or visa versa?

I drew them as lizards first. I didn't expand on the story for a while and it was initially just going to be a world full of lizard people. But then I developed it a little further.

Awesome! I'm glad you developed the story, and how well you did it too. The idea reminds me a lot of the Grandville books

some how i don\'t fine a chameleon to be exactly threatening.... but the bearded dragon looking thing... horns=SCARY! oh geeze! he\'s so pokey that he\'s cuddly!

yeah Chad (chameleon) is one of those he doesn't look scary until he's shot you sort of characters.

Oh man that front view of sideshot is just so much love I can't even express it. Its always great to see more Reptile anthros... that actually look like reptiles <3

These are really really good character designs..I like how they look alot like their species, even if they are anthro.

thanks I like to try and keep them pretty true to their species since there's more than just generic lizard. And I like using their unique characteristics in how they act, look, show facial expression, etc.
