Mm, I started out as combat, but then I decided I liked assassination more. I haven't even tried subtlety. xD I want to, though.
Bah, I haven't really been playing long enough to get two characters to max. I want to make an alt, though. Once I'm all geared up and doing raiding. Log into Quilted to do dailies and raids and hang out, and grind up a new character, since all the quests are new and all.

Well, subtlety spec is awesome for PvP and all, but for leveling..I've heard it is about as annoying as leveling a holy priest. I moved to Assassination because I didn't think I was doing enough DPS. Combat is so much better for handling multiple targets, because of Blade Flurry, mostly, and later Killing Spree..but Assassination is awesome for single targets. You don't get any AoE's until 80, though..Fan of Knives. <3 (by the way, apparently some people don't know this..but you can totally put poisons on your throwing weapons..Fan of Knives..poisons for everyone! And if you have the talent Deadly Brew (assassination spec), if you put Instant poisons on them, they have a 50% chance of putting Crippling on too..if you only have one point in Brew. With two, there's a 100% chance of Crippling.

Haha, yeah..poisons = <3. A good chunk of DPS comes from them, really. I have Deadly on my main, Instant on my off hand and I switch between Deadly and Instant on my thrown.
W00t Shammys! Never leveled one. xD But have been slaughtered by them in BGs.
