Description Every incarnation of the Joker brings something new to the character. Here are some that I believe best represent different sides of his personality. Yes, sociopathy and lunacy are two separate things.

All incarnations of the Joker belong to Time Warner and DC Comics

Who I think would survive if they got into a fight (6 is worst chance, 1 is best chance.)

 6: Heath Ledger's Joker
5: Ceaser Romero's Joker (no idea how to spell his first name.)
4: The Joker from The Batman (the one with the dreadlocks.)
 3: Jack Nicholson's Joker
2: Mark Hamill's Joker (Arkham Asylum)
1: Mark Hamill's Joker (Animated series.

I see it more as they'd team up and wreak hell on the city.

And then Joker from The Animated Series would kill the rest.

I would say that this pretty much covers all of the bases for the Joker.

I don't remember the last one.  Does Disney own DC too?

Arkham Asylum video game, technically a spiritual sequel to the animated series. Even got Hark Hamill back, but it has a different vibe than the series, no goofy robin, no ridiculous schemes, it's like if the Nolan Films had a baby with the animated series, then that baby grew up clinically depressed. Asylum would be it ON medication, Arkham City would be it OFF it's medication.

Ah, I don't play video games.

Why didn't they have Nickelson do the voice?  Wait, Space Dork?

Right, because a video game company that doesn't even have a game of the year under their belt can hire Jack Nicholson (besides, Hamill's way better). And what about a space dork?

but, if you have a game console, or your computer is up to snuff (I'd recommend the PS3 version, you get to play as Joker), you should pick up Asylum, it's a good game, compelling narrative, addictive game play, and it's only $20 (less on pc)

Well, I was putting focus on the adaptations, comics are supposed to have all his sides incorporated into them.

Might be missing the modern animated Jokers from Young Justice, Dark Knight Returns, and Under the Red Hood, but they are either rehashes of these guys, or straight from the comics, being an amalgamation of all the above.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the 1960's one, but each have their charm, even the Kevin Michael Richardson one, despite its odd pick for voice actor and bizarre design (actually helps fit the lunatic category more, as he is kind of the craziest)
