Love it! One way you can fix the graininess of the coloring is to run a slight blur filter over the image, then add that blur filter as a new layer under the original image, then just erase all the colored areas of the original image (top layer) with a fuzzy eraser tool, leaving the outlines. You could also just blur and sharpen this as-is, but it might not get the outlines as crisp as it would by just erasing the colors. The smudge tool would work for this as well, but it's rather tedious to work with.
