I really enjoyed the final episode, which moved me quite a lot for few reasons:
1) The two brothers, Stan and Ford, have finally made peace after so many years of separation and hatred.
2) When Wendy and Dipper have exchanged hats. Beautiful example of deep friendship.
3) When Soos became the new owner of Mystery shack, after the promotion of Stan. Now he works with his girlfriend Melody.
4) When the two policemen, Durland and the Sheriff Blubs, have declared their love. First gay couple in absolute, in that animated series.
5) When Dipper open his letter during the drive home: "See you next summer." A wonderful message that gives us hope for a next and new season!
Truly a wonderful episode! You agree, right?

I say, although I loved this scene, I think that everyone that helped the twins stopping the Apocalypse should have been there to say goodbye to them (namely McGucket, Robbie, Pacifica and even Gideon).
