Gallow couldn't believe it. It had been a good six months since the bombing of the Crucible. So much had happened in such little time. He had left Valore and traveled far from it's impregnable walls into the dark caves of Briem. Only to be thrown into the same horrible chaos he had been in at the pit. And finally, the cherry on top, he had been branded against his will. A permanent reminder he was who he was. It hadn't been long since that day he was locked with the other slaves of Valore. The anger and hatred was still strong in his veins, just in time for a good fashioned brawl. He needed to release this pent up emotion. He wanted to show this crowd, this audience, that he was an animal. He was not something to cheer for. He was something to fear. He wanted out. He wanted freedom. He would do anything for it.

Gallow's mouth twitched up for a second, a frightening smile on his lips, and then the bugles wailed and his gate lifted. His heart pounded and he saw his opponent across the way. A new face in the pits. But nothing Gallow couldn't handle. They both struck forward fast and then Gallow was lost to his instincts.

Yes pit fighters for life. <3 I love these guys. They make me want to go punch things. lol I'm so proud of my boy. He's developed amazingly through this group. My art style has as well! I can't get enough of how different it is now from only two years ago!
