"What the heck is this?" Jack said, wrinkling his nose. Leslie had just dumped a saddle pad and boots into his arms, both colored a bright pink. "I'm not using these."

"Oh yes you are." She said briskly, "She won't work without them."

Jack's face took on a warped expression, and he turned back to look at Sunbeams "She won't work without them?? I have my own blanket and boots, she can just use those!"

"Nope, she won't." Leslie said matter-of-factly, "If her stuff isn't pink, she will try her hardest to knock over everything she junps over - if she jumps at all." She turned on her heel and started to stride away, "Thanks for riding her while I'm gone, Jack! I'll be back in a couple days!"

And that was how Jack lost all respect from his classmates and the entire community in one day.
