Believe it or not, that happened in the series. Brock could actually tell them apart by little things like shoe sizes or minute height differences.
I believe it was when Ash made it to the Pokemon League. Since there were hundreds of trainers and thousands of spectators there due to it being the Olympics of Pokemon, many Joys and Jennys from all around showed up.
There was also a training camp for police Growlithes that had many Jennys at it in an episode infamous for one line from James: "Jessie! Those are MY pumps!" (Team Rocket dressed as Jennys)

Also, in the Orange Islands, there was one Joy that stood out from the rest due to having a praticularly deep tan. She was also reported as being more buff. She's my favorite ^_^ (Pink Hair+Tan+Wearing a skin tight diving suit instead of a nurses uniform=Very Win)
