Meet Trevor.

I recently took a class with Wendy Froud, yes, THE Wendy Froud who, along with her husband Brian Froud, created some of the wonderful critters from Labyrinth, and the Dark Crystal. They had Toby Froud there as well, who is adorable, and helped with the class.

The class was how to make critters, which was fantastic. I cannot gush any harder about how wonderful it was to spend three days with these folks, gain a new skillset, and chatter with fellow artistic people.

This guy, his name's Trevor (After the goldfish Mitchell gives Lucy in Being Human) has an articulated skeleton (Of which I will now be making of metal, the bamboo skewers are too delicate) sculpy clay hands/head/feet, and I had no actual help sculpting him, despite having never sculpted before.

Needless to say, he's the first of many brothers, because making them is just WAY too fun!
