Thank you so much. It is the same picture as purple rose 2. I wanted to see what it looked like in black and white. I prefer the purple one, it was the first one i hdr on my own. taffmiester is usually near by and helps if i get stuck. so i did this one when i was on my own, i couldn't shout for help. Lol

I like the B&W version better, but I have always been fond of B&W work.

I like black and white but I think it is hard to get a good one.

It's a different way of looking for the image. We are, of course, well used to seeing in color. For black & white you learn to look for contrast, tone, compositional elements and arrangements to create the visual interest. It gets easier with practice.
