I'm having way too much fun with vectors...

Anyway, decided to try my hand at coming up with a OC-"ponysona", so to speak, and this is what came out of that. I took some bits and pieces from background ponies as a reference, but all the vector work is my own (still not that good of drawing stuff myself so I have to use some references). Mostly used Time Turner and some of the other "Doctor Whooves" ponies.

Also, he has a bowtie. Bowties are cool. Does not have glasses, but I wear glasses. Couldn't figure out how to make them...

Now some information stuff since he can be treated as either an OC or ponysona:

Name: Gallop Poll
Gender: Male
Species: Unicorn
Cutie Mark: A marked ballot
Special Talent: Studies the magic...OF POLITICAL SCIENCE (I'm a political science major, and I love my studies XD)

I imagine Gallop Poll would serve as an assistant to Mayor Mare. He is responsible for all the day to day work of running a political office and campaigning. For example, he would be responsible for making sure the Mayor kept her approval ratings up after the disastrous "Mane Dyeing" scandal (thank you Gabby Gums). He'd also do polling, setting up special events, and all the others stuff expected of a campaign manager. In his off time he'd probably be an avid reader and visiting the library to check out all the books and newspapers he can (gotta stay on top of the news after all).

Personality, I imagine him as maybe being a little bit awkward at times, but not approaching Fluttershy levels of shyness (can anypony reach that level?). Friendly, but has a bit of an ego streak to him at times due to his position and book smarts ("I AM the Mayor's campaign!"), and his overconfidence can cause him to be a little lazy at times too ("Meh, I can finish that tomorrow no problem").
