Just changed the color of his costume. Apparently, Sinestro Corps is ditching the blue for straight yellow.Related content

In fact, I always wondered why Sinestro didn't ditch the blue for the yellow.
I mean, back when he was fighting Hal all the time, it would have come in handy.
It Kinda looks like the made the switch a little to late.
Also, I hope they come out with more corps. like a red, blue, black, white, etc.

I figure he wore blue because blue + yellow = green, but that's still pretty stupid.
More Corps? Funny you should mention that:
The Zamarons, who created the Star Sapphire, recently reforged the mind controlling Sapphire into a violet ring and lantern, exactly like the kind used by the Guardians and Sinestro.
Apparently, all three of these colors are part of an emotional spectrum harnessed for power, with green representing willpower, yellow representing fear, and violet [supposedly] representing love.
The Zamarons keep their violet lantern and ring in a secret chamber on their homeworld, along with a green and yellow set. Interestingly enough, there seemed to be space for at least four other sets, so it's a fair bet that we're going to see more colored lanterns in the future.

It's funny too, cuz' when I was little, and was reading GL, I kinda made stuff up
like different colored lanterns. But now, there really are, that's kick ass.

....Okay wonder what their corps. is gonna be called.

When I was little, I used to pretend that there were Lanterns of every color.
White, Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, Purple, Pink, Brown.
Now my dream is becoming a reallity. ^^

A few sources I came across called them the Star Sapphire Corps, so it's as good a name as any.
As for others, I keep coming back to the new Blue Beetle, thinking it might be drawing from the emotional spectrum too. The aliens who made it, the Reach, supposedly have some kind of conflict with the Guardians, so there might be a connection. Then again, I might just be fooling myself.

I met Van Sciver the day of the Sinestro Corps' launch, and asked him that very same question. He acknowledged the intentional changing of color, and said that Johns gave him a reason as to why it was changing, but he said don't expect that reveal until later this year.

Hmm... I'm not sure which I like better. The blue gives it a slightly darker look, and the yellow gives it a more sickly look, like a disease or something like that. Still, the glowing yellow eyes are awesome here, and it looks just as good in pure yellow.
