BG ideas?!
Yay here is another drawing of 's OC!!! this time i think i got it right!!!
i am very happy with the way this turned out!!! 
hope others are too!!!
i rushed the shading... so its not quite as dark as i wanted in some places, but its still pretty good!
... i am thinking of filling in the legs... but idk if i should chance it!

Well, I had a nice long critique to help you typed out, but my computer crashed. So I'll go summarize.
-Unless it's perspective, her butt, thighs/legs look really thin and flat. I like how I can tell the cloth is being stretched, though, if it was meant to look like that.
-Her breasts look too round, and naturally, breasts droop. They're not little balls in peoples' bodies, and it looks like she just stuffed an orange in her shirt, because breasts connect to the body. It'll make sense in a few instances, but usually, breasts connect to the body and slightly droop.
-Her arm should be a little more extended. What I do to help me with my poses, is see if it'll work. I would tell you to see if you can really hold your arm that close to your body, if it kind of hurts and you feel stiff, then you know that it's not the perfect pose.
-Her fingers don't just go down like that, they're longer than that, aren't they? And you might want to draw a little more wrist if you're drawing it bent next time.
-Her hair looks REALLY stiff, and the headband is apart of that stiffness. Use curves, thin/thick lines, and a little bit of shading but not too much. That would make the hair more natural and a look a bit lighter. And make the headband look a teensy bit more wrinkled.
-Her sleeves look stiff, as if they made her arms bend like that. Try bending your arm with a short-sleeve on to see how it sort of slides when you hold up your arm. How it wrinkles a lot when you're bending your arm. Even if your arm is going down, there are tiny wrinkles you can just barely notice.

...umm o.o i did do that with my arm and it works fine... feels fine... ^^" i don't usually do the poses i am drawing but that is a really good idea... i think i am going to try that from now on!!!

Haha. It's okay, I read an entire thing to help me improve on drawing breasts. And I'm a homo, so I don't particularly look at genitals. :I
Oh, yeah, it does feel fine, but you wouldn't really just walk up to a person and put your arm close to you like that, would you? For me, it kind of squishes my boob. D8
Ahh, I see, that makes much more sense, then. Because I use ribbons in my hair rather than those stiff ones.

Hahaha. That's acceptable, it's just that they look a bit stiff. ;;
And you can take a ribbon, tie it upside down, the ribbon under your hair, turn it right side up to be in your hair, and that saves a lot of time!

I love it! you portrayed her exactly the way i imagined her. well except for the headband, but the way you posed her, and the angle is beyond what i ever expected! i'd say that you can portray any character easily when you put your mind to it!
the shading on this is wonderfully done and the anatomy is perfect! My only complaint about this would have to be the headband, but even without the original W logo it looks very good. I should take a leaf from your book and start practicing angle and shading. Good work and i hope to see more good stuff from you in the future ^^

Hmm....i think the first thing that i see needs improvement (because it is one of the first things the viewer will see next to the face) is that elbow.
We gotta fix that elbow...and that hand. Really that whole arm. But you're not too too far off ; P
I think you need to elongate the forearm a bit and most definitely work on making that elbow pointer. define that there is a joint there. currently it's like her arm is a rubber hose. If you define the joint in the arm that would really help to improve the arm and the picture (cause the arm is one ofthe first thins to pop out)
Lastly, the fist is too small and angled oddly. It seems like a triangle, less than a fist- and I wanna feel like this girl is ready to kick ass! : D
so let's try to make a stronger fist. I can't really tell you how to but I can reccomend that you look up references. Refs are always good.
This is some great pencil work and I really hope to see is submitted once it has been inked and colored!

I really like her design, the pose you gave her, and the expression. There are a lot of things to work on though.
A) She looks really stiff and angular.
B) Her fist is too short and looks compacted.
C) Her hair is really stiff. Try drawing it with longer sweeps of the pen, and have it curve a bit.
D) Her waist and below. The hips seem really angular, rather than curvy, and her legs don't have much of a curve to them either.
E) Your lines are really thick and choppy. Have a little more confidence in your hand and draw with longer sweeps. Don't press down and try to bold out your lines with a lot of strokes.
F) Your shading is all in the proper locations, but you should use a q-tip or other blending tool to make it smoother.

well, her hair is supposed to be straight, but i do see what you mean, I'll try giving it a little more "flow".
I will make her waste and hips more curvy.
The scanner actually made the lines so bold, and the shading in her eyes a bit choppy.
I do use q-tips.

Straight hair is still very light and would puff out and float around a lil. Also, it would bend and curve when her head is tilted.
