I'm still in the process of designing the characters for the upcoming comics. What I have here seem to be how many people see them as teens. I kinda ran into a dilemma. I'm deciding whether:1) I should stick to these familiar designs and go with it, or
2) Design new outfits for them altogether.
........Maybe it's best to go with the familiar.
On the other hand, I had the freedom to design 'The Kid'. I just gave him new a new aviator jacket and new shades. I also gave him a name: Leone Giordano. In the show, he seem to have a mild Italian accent if I recall correctly, so I gave him an Italian name.
Why is he here in the design? Oh, no reason........no reason at all......

Don't worry about new designs though. I need other students in the background, and I've been having a blast with those! I've been designing tens of characters with different outfits and personalities, as well as brief background, even if I never actually get to show those in the actual comics.

I think there's almost no other way than letting Hoagie keep his "Hank" outfit ^^ It's just completely him, everyone has seen and knows him like that :3
I also LOVE the Kid's new design! He's got awesome new goggles! 
And just the fact that he's present, and probably is going to be taking part in the comic, makes you just KNOW that it's gonna be good!

To tell you the truth I DID honestly considered them familiar outfits subconsciously, until I realized all the designs originated from your drawings just today! I think that's what happened when you're one of, if not THE most, influential KND fanartist on DA.
One reason why I don't want to design new outfits for them is because what you gave them suits them perfectly. And if it ain't broke, why fix it?

It has to do with the last episodes of the series. I'd tell you, but it'll spoil some surprises. Let's say he is forced to leave his teammates.

Numbuh 1 went into the Galactic KND at 10, so he can't be on earth (I think...).

I think The Kid was also known as "Ace" in the show, though that could be a nickname But I like the name that you gave him actually

Ace seem to be a name given to anyone who goes into that model/etc shop with the clean-counter-obsessed-guy, so I don't think that's it. Besides, a skilled pilot (specifically one who shot down 5 enemy planes) is called an ace. It pretty much means a veteran pilot.

Interesting idea, but as I said, I'm not going to touch on KND with the story. It's all about the characters, and no longer fighting against adult tyranny, because they'll be adults in a year or two.
