Description The Skytrain is one of the inner city transportation modes of Vancouver, B.C..

Taken in Granville Station.

Note:I purposely did not allow my camera to focus. I did it to capture the obvious details in bands, such as the light and the yellow edge of the platform.

how did you find Granville when empty. Always crowded

It's an easy thing -- when a train arrives, let them load and unload. When the train leaves the station, wait 5 seconds and the platform will be completely empty. That's how I got all the other photos with the empty station even the big hallway

Hmm.... weekday..... well yeah Granville, Burrard, New Westminster, Scott Road and all the Surrey stations are scary at night no matter what XD. I get pretty creeped out too but I always go during the day. Last thing I want is my camera stolen lol... that and you can catch more details in certain places during the day (I have awesome downtown building shots somewhere).

perfect example of guiding lines!!!!
eek!
that just makes me SOOOO happy. and thanks for understanding that photos (especially conceptual ones) don't have to be in focus.

I kind of likened it to waiting for the train and time blurring out during the wait. That is why I'm so close to the edge of the platform.

The Millenium Line train had just left and we needed to catch the Expo Line train, which took a little while.

Yeah Conceptual photos don't need to be in focus, because with ones like these.... being out of focus is the focus.

Thank you very much. The light and the platform paint stood out to me which is why I tried this.
